Recipe from an SKT Customer
January is National Soup Month, so we want to share this recipe
with you. It’s from a wonderful SKT customer, Lee Taylor, of Burden,
Kansas, who made it for a Christmas luncheon with family. Enjoy!

Cheesy
Potato Soup
5 large potatoes
2 chicken bouillon cubes
8 oz. sour cream
1 block Velveeta (large)
Minced onion to taste
Peel and dice potatoes. Cover with water. Add bouillon
cubes and minced onions. Boil until potatoes are tender.
Do not drain water. Add sour cream and Velveeta.
Simmer until cheese melts.

• A health emergency prevents the caller from speaking. Let’s say your aging parent
is disoriented or in pain and isn’t able to clearly communicate to the 911 operator. With a
landline phone, the exact home address is instantly available to emergency personnel.
