Bryce Renken Billing Analyst Bryce Renken joined Madison Com- munications in 2008 after 16 years at May Company/Famous Barr/Macy’s Department Stores. As Senior Program- mer there, he provided development and support of markdown systems. Renken’s responsibilities as Billing Analyst for Madison Communications include helping implement new billing system features for use by the Cus- tomer Care team, troubleshooting any billing-related issues, putting together training materials to help cross-train work groups, and promoting online training provided by software vendors. What does Renken enjoy most about his job? He replied, “I have the oppor- tunity to work with a great Customer Care team to make their day-to-day processes more efficient, which lets them spend more time providing quality service to our customers.” Renken lives in Troy, Illinois, with his wife Shari, an IT analyst at SIU-Edwardsville. Their daughter Madeleine is employed by the IT department at McKendree University, and their son Blake is a col- lege freshman. “I’m hopeful the new year will allow us to again participate in the community activities we enjoy, and that it will be less stressful—especially for employ- ees of universities and schools as well as students and their families,” he said.
