WCVT Awards Scholarships to Local Graduates Each year, Waitsfield and Champlain Valley Telecom proudly awards six $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from the public high schools in our service area. These scholarships are given in memory of Eunice B. Farr, the former owner and operator of Waitsfield-Fayston Telephone Company, and a champion of education and community service. The Eunice B. Farr Memorial Scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated consistent academic growth, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuing their education at a college or trade school.
