It specializes in working with small businesses and takes a customer-oriented approach to each assignment, knowing V & R Accounting only succeeds when its clients succeed. Services offered include: Responding to 2020’s Challenges The pandemic impacted how V & R Accounting interacted with clients and the type of assistance small businesses required. Voth explained, “Beginning in March, we stopped having in-person meetings with clients and switched to phone calls. We continued working from our office, but the public had no access to it. V & R Accounting also began offering a drop-off box so clients could securely and conveniently leave documents. Today, many of our meetings are taking place on Zoom.” She continued, “Due to the pandemic, the tax due date was extended to July 15, which took some of the pressure off. But the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) added a whole other workload for V & R Accounting. We ceased our tax return work for nine days and did nothing but help small businesses apply for PPP dollars.
