This fall, we had a great time at the Bristol Harvest Festival and the Vermont Biz2Biz Expo. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello! In addition, we were proud to support a number of local events this season, such as: • Vermont Works for Woman Expo • Bristol Harvest Festival • Richmond Art Crawl • We Are MRV Community Celebration There’s nothing like having fun with neighbors! As fall settles in, we’re excited to share our 2025 progress in expanding our fiber-optic network. Thanks to the hard work of our construction crews and partners, we’ve completed: • 205 miles of aerial mainline fiber • 93 miles of mainline fiber and service drops Our crews remain hard at work this construction season, with active projects in Hinesburg, Huntington, North Ferrisburgh, Richmond, Starksboro, Waltham, Monkton, Bristol, and Lincoln. We’re also filling in remaining gaps across several other areas, which primarily involves running additional customer drops and performing customer conversions. Building a fiber-optic network is a complex process with these steps: • Strand & Mainline Fiber Installation – Running fiber along utility poles and completing necessary underground sections • Fusion Splicing & Electronics – Splicing fiber, installing electronics, and setting up splitter cabinets • Network Testing & Turn-Up – Ensuring everything is operating flawlessly before moving forward • Service Drops & Installations – Running fiber directly to homes and scheduling customer installations once the network is live These are large-scale infrastructure projects with many moving parts, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work to bring fast and reliable fiber internet to your community.
