Customer Connection December 2023

The Great Pumpkin Hunt is an annual Range tradition, and this year it was held in six communities — Dubois, Forsyth, Newcastle, Sundance, Thermopolis, and Worland—from October 23-27. A pumpkin was hidden in each community, and a series of clues were given daily until someone found it. We congratulate the 2023 winners: OVER $33,000 IN PRIZES GIVEN TO WINNERS OF THE GREAT PUMPKIN HUNT 1. CHASE STEINKE Dubois Pumpkin was near the end of the fishing access on the south side of the river, on the ground in the willows. 2. AUGUST AND WAYNE SANDMEIER Forsyth Pumpkin was in the muzzle of the cannon at the courthouse. 3. SUZANNE ACKERMAN, SHAWNDA SANDRINI, GRACE SANDRINI, AND MEGAN OTT Newcastle Pumpkin was under one of the bases at the baseball field. 4. THE CARLSON FAMILY Sundance Pumpkin was in Sundance Square Park, painted and disguised as one of the rocks in the back corner rock beds, concealed near or under one of the Karl Foerster grasses. It was partially visible but hidden in some of the real rocks. 5. CILEY AND DALE ANDREEN Thermopolis Pumpkin was in the rock wall covered in red vines along the walking path in Hot Springs State Park. 6. RYAN O’HALLORAN Worland Pumpkin was under the shed in the Worland Community Center Park. Range would like to thank all the community businesses and partners that helped support this event. Because of their generosity, we were able to give away more than $33,000 in prizes this year! We’d also like to give an especially big thanks to our radio station partners—KDNO 101.7, KTAK 93.9, KIKC 101.3, KASL 94.3, Eagle Country 95.9/96.3, and Big Horn Media. Pumpkin Hunters, we look forward to providing you with another fantastic hunt again in 2024! 6 4 2 5 3 1 3
