Business Connections fo Fall 2021

BUSINESS connections Fall 2021 7 Being a local business means that our customers are also our neighbors and friends. Rainbow feels strongly that community involvement isn’t just a nice thing to do, it’s the right thing to do. Julie Bergman, Community Relations Manager Though new to her position as Community Relations Manager, Julie Bergman is not new to our Rainbow customers. Julie has worked for Rainbow for 10+ years, serving customers in our residential market and most recently as a Business Solutions Representative. Her heart has always been in Community Relations, and she’s usually first to participate in events and spread happiness and appre- ciation to our customers—truly a kid at heart. It’s not all fun and games, however. Julie also has a vast knowledge of Rainbow’s products and services. We have a win-win situation with Julie on our team! Kinsey Boller, Community Relations Coordinator Kinsey Boller joined the Rainbow team during the 2020 pandemic! Kinsey is full of spirit and energy, and is always up for a challenge and excited to learn. She’s a great asset to Rainbow. Kinsey gradu- ated from Horton High School and is current working on her marketing degree from Peru State College. She enjoys meeting new people and says, “My favorite part of the job is helping our communities grow through involvement with our local chambers and organizations. The bonus is they all become our friends and neighbors!” Meet Our Community Relations Team The Gift of Giving Starts in November Rainbow could give you cookies or candy to say thanks for your business in 2021. But we hope you agree it’s much sweeter to instead help our neigh- bors in need. Rainbow began The Gift of Giving program in 2010 as a way to thank our business customers while truly embracing the holiday spirit. You’ll receive a letter in the mail in early November about The Gift of Giving program, and you can select one local charity from the list below. Rainbow will make a donation to that charity in your company’s name. In the past five years alone, we’ve donated an average total of around $7,000 per year.
