This was followed by the selection of Rainbow Fiber Internet and/or phone plans by customers and appointments with our techni- cians crews to install the necessary interior equipment. Fiber cabinets housing the electronics needed to power the fiber services were also put in place near the Effingham water tower and near the Lancaster City Building. Also during this period, Rainbow installed Community Wi-Fi Hotspots at the Blue Building at 304 Main in Effingham and at the City Building at 301 Kansas in Lancaster to provide Internet service inside and outside the buildings. Many Installations Done, More Signups to Come Rainbow has completed the fiber infrastructure build throughout the entire towns of Effingham and Lancaster. The businesses and residents of those communities that signed up early for services have been installed with them and are now enjoying Rainbow’s high-speed fiber internet. Moving forward, anyone in Effingham or Lancaster is able to sign up for our fiber internet and have it quickly installed, whether a new or current Rainbow customer. What else might the future hold?
