He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking from Buena Vista University and an associate degree in accounting from Southwestern Community College. Murphy brings customer service experience to his new role. He said, “I worked at a bank in Creston beginning in 2014, then moved to First State Bank in Redfield. I always enjoyed the customer relationship part of banking. After hearing good things about Panora Fiber from an employee and their spouse, I became interested in this Customer Service Specialist job, which will allow me to continue working with customers.” His primary responsibilities will include responding to customer inquiries about products/services and billing, assisting with marketing, and handling other day-to-day tasks as needed. Murphy shared this about his life outside of work: “My significant other and I welcomed a little boy right after Thanksgiving, so that’s been a learning experience and a blessing.
