Signal Winter 2023 Newsletter

www.alliancecom.net 3 We launched our “Good Deeds” campaign in July 2023, which asks individuals within Alliance’s service area to share how they give back to their community for a chance to be awarded for their good deeds. Throughout the year, three finalists will receive $500 to donate to a local, school, or nonprofit organization they love. “Our job is to connect to communities,” said Ross Petrick, general manager/CEO at Alliance. “Our customers share our love of giving back, and we saw an opportunity to celebrate and support those efforts.” The first Alliance customers to be selected and awarded from a list of nominations made by their fellow Alliance customers were: • Brandon Lutheran Quilt Group member, Diane Rollag • Hudson Fire & Ambulance volunteers, Gene and Jess Just • Alcester-Hudson superintendent, Tim Rhead Each of them will appear in Alliance’s advertising campaign throughout the year. “There are many people who do great things in our school and communities that go unrecognized. It is very special to know that people are watching and appreciate the things you are doing,” said Rhead, who was nominated for giving back to the school district by mowing and watering the schoolyard, driving the school bus, and making everyone feel welcome. Rhead’s $500 award will support the Hudson Playground Fundraiser. Individuals in Alliance’s service area can submit a “Good Deeds”nomination at alliancecom.net/community, now until December 14, 2023. Local Nomination Campaign Awards Residents Who Give Back Alliance Communications is recognizing and awarding area residents for the ways they give back to their community.
