If you want to change a tweet, you’ll have to delete it entirely and repost. Here’s how to delete a tweet using a Windows PC: 1. In the left rail of your home page, select Profile. 2. On your profile page, scroll to the tweet you want to delete. 3. In the upper-right corner of the tweet, select the down-arrow and choose Delete. 4. In the Delete Tweet? dialog box, select Delete. Facebook Facebook makes it pretty easy to edit your posts, though you should be aware that edits are visible to anyone viewing the post. Here are the steps for editing a Facebook post on a Windows PC: 1. On your profile page, scroll to the post you want to edit. 2. In the upper-right corner of the post, select the Menu (three-dot) icon and choose Edit post. 3. In the Edit Post window, make your changes, then select Save. Instagram Once you’ve posted a photo along with a caption on Instagram, you can change the caption, account tags, location tag, and alt text, but not the photo itself. Here’s how to edit an Instagram post on an Android device: 1. From your Instagram profile, select the post you want to edit. 2. In the upper-right corner of the post, select the Menu (three-dot) icon and choose Edit. 3. In the Edit Info screen, make your changes to the caption. 4. To change the alt text, select Edit Alt Text. To change account tags, select Tag People. To change the location, select Add Location or the location already selected under your account name. 5. In the upper-right corner, select the checkmark to save. LinkedIn You can only change text elements of your post, not images or videos; if you want to change those elements, you can delete and repost. Here’s how to edit a LinkedIn post using a Windows PC: 1. From your home page, in the left rail, select your name to get to your profile. 2. On your profile, scroll to the Activity section and select See all. 3. On the Activity page, find the post you want to edit. 4. In the upper-right corner of the post, select the Menu (three-dot) icon and choose Edit post. 5. Make your changes, then select Save. Check out the instructions below.
